Parent consent

Last updated: 16 October 2026

SpellVenture is made for children aged 5 to 11. Children cannot sign up themselves — a parent or carer creates the account and adds each child.

When you create an account, you confirm that

• you are the child's parent or carer and are 18 or over;
• you agree to us keeping your child's nickname, school year, cartoon face and spelling progress, as described in our privacy notice;
• you have read the terms of use.

Keeping children safe

• No adverts, chat or links out of the app while children play.
• Anything to do with accounts or payments is kept in the grown-ups' area.
• The progress dashboard asks a grown-up question before opening.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw consent at any time: remove a child from the Family page, or use our contact form to delete your whole account and all your children's progress.
